Our vision is to emphasise on the importance of holisting living in this modernised world and to showcase how it relates to Yoga and Bharatanatyam.
Bharatanatyam and Yoga are two ways that exist to help us understand the manifestation of the Divine in the human form. Both wonderful arts are products of Sanathana Dharma, which is the bedrock of Indian culture and Lord Shiva is held to be the manifesting principle of these two art forms.
The NatyaShastra of Bharata Muni lays emphasis on not merely the physical aspects of Bharatanatyam, but also on the spiritual and esoteric nature of this art form. 108 Karanas in Bharatanatyam are derived from Shiva’s dance form “Thandavam” and it’s also said that 108 Karanas are nothing, but the yoga poses of Lord Shiva.
Both Yoga and Bharatanatyam are also evolutionary sciences for the spiritual evolution of the human being to the state of the superhuman and finally the Divine
